How Florence Arrests Work
Florence counted 26,785 residents in the 2020 Census. It also serves as the Pinal County seat. Town officers write reports for the incidents they handle. PCSO runs the county jail from the same town, but that custody role stays separate from police work. The arrest report and the jail record belong to different custodians and answer different questions. Each has its own custodian.
Official Florence releases describe adults arrested, booked, or driven to the Pinal County Jail. That makes PCSO's Adult Detention Inmate Search the practical custody check. Still, county booking does not follow every town arrest. A release, a transfer, another agency's hold, or federal or immigration custody can change the path.
Where Florence Arrests Are Published
Florence Police Department posts no live arrest roster. No public mugshot feed exists either. Its reports and press releases appear on a periodic schedule. For current county custody use the sheriff roster, and for an existing town report use Florence Police Records, while news coverage should be checked against the agency that made the arrest.
| Channel | Purpose | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Florence Police | Official releases and reports | Periodic, not a complete log |
| PCSO roster | Current county custody | Hourly; released people disappear |
| Police Records | Town record requests | At least five business days |
| PinalCentral | Selected coverage | Unofficial, not a roster |
| Pinal Post | County safety stories | Selective coverage |
The county roster displays no photo field. The county's separate mugshot search is out of service. The sheriff's office offers no booking-photo app to fill that gap. Detention vendor applications handle services like commissary, not arrest feeds.
Florence Custody Systems Differ
Geography will not settle which database fits. Florence holds the county jail. State, federal, and contract correctional activity surrounds the town as well. A person tied to Florence might sit in county pretrial custody, serve a state sentence under ADCRR, sit in immigration custody, or appear only in an old report.
PCSO answers for county jail custody and booking records. After entry into state prison, use the ADCRR Inmate Data Search. ICE and the Bureau of Prisons each run separate federal locators. None replaces the Florence police report.
The roster refreshes every 60 minutes but promises no timing for a new intake's first appearance. Acceptance, classification, release, and transfer all affect visibility. A missing result means no current county match.
Florence Arrest Reports
Department reports and press releases cover selected arrests and public-safety activity. A February 2025 update described a suspect arrested and booked into Pinal County Jail. Older reports tell of transport there too. These examples show the normal route. They do not promise a release for every arrest.
Publication dates lag behind arrest dates. The town sets no hourly cadence, weekend schedule, or archive window covering all arrests. The Police Blotter guide explains multi-day limits.
The official department page shows the reports and records routes.

This town page supplies incident context; PCSO separately supplies county detention status.
Find an Arrested Florence Person
A sound search moves stage by stage. Keep the agencies separate. Gather an exact name, a date, a location, and a case number when one exists. Each detail narrows the record hunt.
- Review Florence Police releases or Department Reports for a selected incident.
- Search the PCSO roster by last name or inmate ID for county custody.
- If absent, retry after the next hourly refresh and consider release or transfer.
- Request the town report from Florence and the booking record or intake photo from PCSO.
- Search Arizona Public Access Case Lookup for filings and disposition.
The Arrests Last 24 Hours page offers a same-day fallback. No separate official 24-hour Pinal feed exists. Someone released before a search may not appear. The arrest record still exists even so.
Florence Arrest Record Requests
Florence Police Records takes requests in the lobby, by fax, or online. Reports need at least five business days, weekends and holidays excluded. Some material may require a court order. That timeline is a minimum, not a promise.
| Item | Current charge |
|---|---|
| Non-confidential report | $5 |
| Victim report | Free |
| Traffic accident report | $5 |
| Police photograph | $24 each |
| Fingerprinting | $6 |
An older town page lists a $6 report fee. The current amount stands at $5. Trust the newer figure. A town photo fee does not prove Florence holds the county jail intake image, which belongs to PCSO.

This source lays out local methods and timing. It covers town records only. A county booking image follows a different path. PCSO handles that request on its own terms.
Florence Booking Photo Access
Ask whichever agency created the image. Florence may hold evidence or report photographs. PCSO likely holds the intake image. The county FAQ tells photo requesters to write in and include a notarized photo waiver. PCSO Records then applies its current fees and disclosure review.
The county's out-of-service mugshot page points users to the Records Request Portal. That route beats an old third-party image. PinalCentral and aggregators can lag, keep entries after release, and say nothing final.
Arizona privacy and public-record rules can shape what gets released. For county process and correction context, see the Pinal County photo guidance.
Florence Arrest News Coverage
Local outlets like PinalCentral, Pinal Post, and AZFamily report on selected Florence arrests and county incidents. InMaricopa sometimes picks up a Pinal County story once it spreads toward the southeast Valley. News is not a roster. A story can stay searchable long after a person has been released, so check dates before assuming someone is still in custody.
Two tools deserve caution. Florence Alert Network handles emergencies and community alerts, not arrest notifications. VINELink is trickier: the ACJC participation list does not include Pinal County, which limits what a custody search there can return. The VINELink Custody Check page walks through that gap in detail.
For solid answers, split the question. Florence police can confirm an incident. PCSO can confirm custody. The court can confirm an outcome.
